FAQ

PopUps are typically setup in the building lobby or in the employee lunch room. Since PopUps are portable, they can be setup in other convenient locations in your building. 

WHERE WILL POPUPS BE SET UP?

Guests can walk up, place their order and pay at the cashier. Lish accepts all major credit cards or mobile payment. 

HOW DO PEOPLE PAY FOR FOOD?

PopUp sites need to have 12 ft x 5 ft space, two 120V outlets, and access to running water. The space also needs access to wifi to process payments. 

WHAT ARE THE SITE REQUIREMENTS?

Employees can sign up to receive daily or weekly menus by email. Don't like email? Lish's calendar feature automatically updates your Google or Outlook calendar with upcoming restaurants. Finally, companies that use Slack can setup a Lish channel.

HOW WILL EMPLOYEES LEARN ABOUT POPUPS?

There is no cost to the company or building hosting a PopUp. Each employee pays for their own meals. Companies may choose to subsidize meals partially or fully as an employee perk. 

WHAT IS THE COST TO COMPANY OR BUILDING?

Lish's dedicated Onsite Lead arrives everyday to do the set up before the restaurant arrives. They cashier the service and oversee the restaurant team. After the service they ensure the space is clean and all equipment stored away.

WHO DOES THE SET-UP AND CLEAN-UP?

Each serving is prepared-to-order, but the food is not cooked onsite. The food is freshly prepared at a certified restaurant kitchen.

WHERE IS THE FOOD PREPARED?

PopUps are designed to be a recurring amenity, 3-5 days per week. For 1-time events, ask us about our catering program or order catering online.

CAN WE HAVE POPUP FOR A 1-TIME EVENT?

Guests can have their meals customized to their preferences. Simply tell the chef how you want your meal assembled. Most chefs also bring a self-serve condiment bar for extra customization.

CAN PEOPLE CUSTOMIZE THEIR ORDER?

Lish's proprietary forecasting technology estimates demand for each service. This helps the restaurants prepare the right amount of food everyday.

HOW DO RESTAURANTS PLAN PORTIONS?

Our intelligent platform learns each office and buildings preferences and customer ratings. And then optimizes for max variety, while keeping your favorites like Taco Tuesday coming back more often.
