Description

Chicken Do Pyaza has a unique sweet and spicy flavor. 'Do' means 'two' and dopyaza refers to a dish with almost twice the amount of onions compared to other Indian recipes.

In my version I use marinated boneless chicken in just hara (green) masala - not the typical yellow curry. Enjoy it with wholewheat naan, white basmati rice and mixed veg salad.

Ingredients

Chicken, onions, yoghurt, ginger garlic paste, salt, garam masala, oil, crushed red peppers, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, cinnamon, bay leaves, cloves, black pepper whole, cilantro, green chillies, lemon, basmati rice, cucumber, tomatoes, vinegar, black onion seed, flour, sugar, yeast, milk

This dish tasted great, and the rice was really well seasoned, but the sauce was a bit oily for my liking.

The meat was very dry, overcooked.

The chicken was dry, and the sauce may have been tasty but it was too hot to tell. The salad was more of a condiment with the tiny size.

I really was hopeful about this dish but the chicken was dry & flavorless and serving size small.
