Description

Indonesian version of chicken noodle soup, with broth brightened by turmeric and aromatic herbs, topped with melinjo cracker and served with a side of Perkedel (Indonesian style of potato croquette).

Ingredients

chicken soup: chicken, egg, cabbage, bean sprout, bean threads, melinjo cracker, lime, Chinese celery, shallots, garlic, ginger, lemongrass, galangal, turmeric, cardamom, nutmeg, cinnamon, candle nuts, Thai chili peppers, kaffir lime leaves, bay leaves, sweet soy sauce, canola oil. Potato croquette: potato, corned beef, green onion, egg, coriander, canola oil

Pretty good dish but the fried chips were slightly bitter and and chicken was a little dry. Broth was tasty.

Soup has good flavor. Chicken is a bit dry. All white breast meat. I would have preferred less chicken and more noodles and vegetables

Just not good. Chips were bitter, chicken was dry, broth was spicy, noodles were tough. Overall fail.
