Dal makhani is a popular dish originated from the Punjab region of India and Pakistan. The primary ingredients in dal makhani are whole black lentil (urad) with red kidney beans (rajma), simmered with butter and cream. Served with Jeera rice, naan, and a cucumber, tomato and red onion salad.
daal (whole black lentils, red kidney beans, oil, onion, tomato, butter, whipping cream, garlic, ginger, whole cumin seeds, whole garam masala, turmeric powder, cumin, coriander, chili powder, salt, cilantro), Jeera rice (basmati rice, cumin seeds, oil, salt), naan (flour, yogurt, canola oil, sugar, salt), cucumber salad (cucumber, tomato, red onion, lemon, olive oil)
Pretty good. Dal has good flavor, though the picture makes it look like you get a decent amount of yogurt to mix in. In reality, there's about 1/2 of a teaspoon's worth only, already on top (which then gets nuked when you heat it).
Rice is as expected, salad tastes like tomato+cucumber (no extra spice/etc). A very very small piece of naan (about the size of a CD)
