Description

You'd never guess that this dessert is on the healthy side, as far as desserts go. The caramel is made from nutrient-dense, less processed coconut sugar and coconut milk. The butter has been clarified, which means the whole dessert is dairy-free, and it is sweetened with maple syrup: a wonderful natural, unprocessed alternative to sugar that is much easier for your body to digest. Garnished with toasted hazelnuts, it is a full-flavored, creamy, and smooth end to a healthy meal that will leave your sweet tooth more than satisfied!

It was a really creamy, rich chocolate dessert, but still felt really light.

We loved the nuts, coffee sauce, and overall design of this dish. However, the terrine was extremely rich and must have been >80% dark chocolate. It made your mouth pucker! But overall a successful dish.
