Born in Bangkok and raised on Capitol Hill, I grew up with my Mother's authentic Thai cooking. My Mom and I actually used to make fish sauce fermented in large clay pots from scratch, long before there were any imported Thai items available in Seattle.

Description

A delicious spicy green chicken curry with coconut milk. The Thaifusions family recipe sold in local stores like Whole Foods, PCC, Met Markets, Uwajimaya & Sur la Table.

Ingredients

Green curry paste, coconut milk, chicken, bell pepper, bamboo shoots, sweet basil, eggplant, fish sauce, sugar, jasmine rice

My husband complimented this dish and from someone who is picky about his curries, that is high-praise.

Good flavor, nice heat. Too runny/liquidy for my preference. Very good, but I had to make more rice to finish the curry.

Depth of flavor not quite perfect, but nice to have veggies crisper than typical in a takeout curry

This dish was spiced perfectly and had the right mix of veggies. Very very tasty.

This curry dish was wonderful! A perfect blend of spices, with just the right amount of heat. The basil and eggplant were amazing. The chicken was tender and plentiful. I would have liked even more veggies in this dish. I will order this again.

I give this 4 stars because it was very tasty. The curry had a good amount of heat to it. (Hate when something says is described as spicy and it's not.) The rice was moist and sticky, as it should be.

But I will not order this again because the portion was small. I ordered this and the sea salted chocolate chip cookie. After eating both, I was still hungry. I think that if a dish is sold as a dinner, it should be more filling. At 130 pounds, I don't think that I am expecting more than the average eater. I could pay the same amount and get a more than twice as much food that is just as tasty from any one of the nearby thai restaurants.

Full of flavor, not very spicy, and the portion of jasmine rice was small (compared the amount of curry).
