Description

Traditional Northeastern Thai Larb. Ground pork is sauteed and tossed with shallots, green onions, ground chili, and a mix of fresh herbs. This mixture is all tossed in a savory fish sauce lime dressing with toasted rice powder. Served with lettuce and jasmine rice. This dish perfectly showcases the sharp flavors and contrasts of Thai cooking.

A bit heavy on the fish sauce, and no instructions on what to do with the powder but overall quite delicious.

Not as spicy as traditional larb, but plenty of fruity pepper flavor so I didn't miss the searing heat! The pork was tender and reasonably lean -- I'd have no hesitation to order it again!
