Koftas or meatballs while great as a snack or a side dish on their own, get elevated when cooked in a spiced curry. The flavors of garam masala and ginger-garlic penetrate and coat the meatballs. In turn the flavors from the chicken meatballs render into the curry and make the sauce that much more robust. Over the years this dish was a savior when my kids fussed over food.
