Phat Prik Kaeng by Chef Max Borthwick

Born in Bangkok and raised on Capitol Hill, I grew up with my Mother's authentic Thai cooking. My Mom and I actually used to make fish sauce fermented in large clay pots from scratch, long before there were any imported Thai items available in Seattle.

Description

Phat Prik Kaeng is the dish that reminds me the most of visiting Thailand. It's a stir-fried chicken with a coconut curry, green beans, Thai basil and bell peppers, served over Jasmine rice. The thicker curry and the crisp taste of the green beans are a flavor you'll always be wanting to come back to!

Ingredients

Jasmine rice, chicken, coconut milk, curry paste, green beans, thai basil, bell pepper, fish sauce, light soy sauce, sugar, white pepper

Liked it, but wanted it spicier and thought the portion was a bit small and dry.

My second favorite dish so far from Lish! (My fave was the turkey moussaka) We will definitely order this again! PS: This SECOND time you really scrimped on the green beans. I had to add more vegies. But it was still very good.

De-Lish! Great flavor and seasoning w/ just enough spice. Tender chicken and beans had great crunch. Wish I ordered more!

A tad bland for a Thai dish and would have preferred a lot more basil.
