Vindaloo is an Indian curry dish popular in the region of Goa. The name Vindaloo is derived from the Portuguese dish Carne de Vinha d'alhos, a dish made with pork marinated in wine and garlic. The Portuguese dish evolved into Vindaloo with the addition of vinegar, red Kashmiri chilies, and Indian spices. Served with basmati rice and curried vegetables.
vindaloo (pork, onion, tomato, ginger, garlic, malt vinegar, dry red chili, cloves, coriander, cumin, cilantro), Basmati Rice, curried vegetables (seasonal vegetables, oil, curry powder)
Delicious!! Such great flavors. Only complaint was that the portion sizing for all of the entrees is a little on the small side for the meat and the rice, but not for the veggies.
We have missed this cuisine! been a while. Very good stuff, thanks!
