Description

Originating from Laos, this grilled chicken dish is now a common staple in the street foods of Thailand. In this preparation I've marinated the chicken with fresh ginger, soy sauce and a pinch of sugar for some caramelization. I then grill this over low heat for a long time to bring out the flavors. Enjoy it with my vegetable fried rice made with brown rice.

Ingredients

chicken (chicken thigh, fresh ginger, sugar), chow mein noodles (sweet peppers, scallions, chow mein noodles), stir fried vegetables (peppers, onions, broccoli, cauliflower, scallion, soy sauce)

Was delicious, but the vegetables were undercooked. Too crunchy.

Chicken had excellent flavor. Rice was a little bland, but i poured the sauce over it and the vegetables and then the whole meal was quite tasty.

The chicken was delicious as was the rice but the veggies felt like an afterthought.

It was good, but would have been easier to eat if the chicken had been sliced.

Probably the worst meal I've had with Lish. The chicken looked good but was poor quality. Tasted like fast food chicken. The rice had no flavor and the veggies were not fresh.
