Growing up in a small town in Indonesia, my passion for cooking came from my Mom who is an awesome cook and baker.
I came to American to pursue my dream of professional cooking. I graduated from the Seattle Culinary Academy in 2008, and have worked every job in the restaurant and catering business - from dishwasher to bartender, line cook to chef - in places like Monsoon and Kaspars Catering.
My culinary goals are to introduce authentic and traditional Indonesian cuisine to the Pacific Northwest and to elevate it to elegant restaurant-quality dishes.
I've left my previous job as Chef De Cuisine at a local Italian restaurant to open my own food truck, Jajanan, later this year.
