Raised at the stove of my very southern grandmother, I learned from an early age how food can bring and hold family together. Every Sunday, my grandmother would ceremoniously pull out all her pots, and time honored recipes, as slowly one by one the whole family would file through the door. The laughter and smiles continued until the last dish was cleared; I fell in love with the enchanting power of food and the family meal.
As I grew up and on my own food remained the cornerstone of every gathering and celebration. Birthdays, achievements, weddings, all celebrated and honored with my families very best recipes and dishes. As time went on my cooking skills and my children continued to grow, and finally my passion for cooking, and food became my career.
