I grew up in Trewlany in the country side of Jamaica, and at ten years of age I found my self passing up frequent games of Jamaican football to watch my mother create traditional dishes. At the age of sixteen my mother opened a restaurant called Ackee Tree in Jamaica where I later became executive chef specializing in jerk chicken.
I later moved to America working at five star resorts in Scottsdale Arizona and now find myself in Washington bringing real Caribbean flavors. I started out doing private events then as executive chef/co-owner of Island Pizzeria in Tacoma. Currently you can find me on the Word of Mouth food truck.
