Chef Jood was born in Morocco where she was raised with her big family. Her mom used to cook for parties and Jood would observe her every move. She eventually started challenging her mom to competitions to see who was the better cook. She became more and more interested and started cooking and baking for her family and friends. After Jood got married, she moved to Seattle to join her husband who owned a Mediterranean restaurant. There she fell in love with the art and diversity of the Mediterranean cuisine. They worked together to further develop the restaurant and menu. Jood's passion is to take a recipe and change it to make it unique and taste outstanding all the while maintaining the use of fresh and simple ingredients. She loves to get creative and share that with her customers making sure that they are completely satisfied while discovering a new taste and style at the same time.
