Chef Salam Ibrahim Salam Ibrahim

Born and raised in Kuwait through high school, and then 7 years in Egypt where I earned degrees in Engineering and Marine Economics & Transportation. I adopted cooking as a hobby from my mom, aunt and others in my family while they cooked. Cooking has always been a passion, and I learned through observation, experimentation, and from my family.

I came to the US in 1990 to California, and then to Seattle 1994. I opened a Middle Eastern deli in Lynnwood in 2009, and then started Al Basha in December 2016.
