Chef Wu, Pei Wen was born in Shanghai, China and in the late 1980s he was hired as a Chef trainee at a well known Hotel Food Service Restaurant called Long Bai Fan Dian and spent 15 years training and progressing. Chef Wu came to the US in early 2000s and in 2010 he began as an assistant Chef at Shanghai Shanghai restaurant in downtown Bellevue, WA. In late 2017 he started leading the kitchen at Shanghai Homestyle. Chef Wu has created a large following of return customers by concentrating on homestyle Shanghainese Cuisines. In his spare time Chef Wu loves his grand kids, the Seattle Seahawks, and the Seattle Sounders!
