Chicken breast skewers marinated in my special seasoning with aromatic turmeric and curry powder. Served with a side of pickled cucumber salad and peanut sauce.
satay (chicken breast, turmeric, curry powder, canola oil), peanut dipping sauce (coconut milk, red curry paste (chilli pepper, garlic, shallot, lemongrass, sugar, kaffir lime, galangal, coriander seeds, cumin, cardamom), curry powder, palm sugar, sugar, tamarind, soy sauce, peanut butter, canola oil), cucumber salad (cucumber, red bell pepper, red onion, white vinegar, sugar, salt)
I really enjoyed the cucumber salad (fresh!) The peanut sauce was interesting and tasted home made, with bits of peanuts in sauce. The chicken satay was good--I have had better tasting (could be chef's choice of seasoning), but it was satisfying.
Nothing special but a good basic satay with no drawbacks
