Spoon this delicious slow-cooked chicken and egg dish simmered in a spiced herb sauce over injera, the traditional Ethiopian fermented flatbread. Served with a side of delicious curried potatoes and seasonal greens deglazed with white wine.
chicken (chicken, onions, berbere spice blend (*contains onion, garlic, nightshade), rice bran oil, garlic, ginger, tomatoes, chicken stock, chicken, eggs), injera (teff flour, water), braised greens (kale, onions, rice bran oil, oregano, garlic, white wine, cumin, black pepper, chili peppers), curried potatoes (carrots, potatoes, onions, ginger, jalapenos, rosemary, garlic, turmeric, rice bran oil)
This was the best lunch we have had in a long time! We definitely want it again, but will probably ask for bowls next time. Each item was basically like a stew, so it was hard to keep it all on a plate.
delicious but not enough meat
