Vegetarians will love this Tex-Mex breakfast taco! Enjoy a smoked vegan Field Roast Apple Sage Sausage with melted cheddar, spiced roasted red potatoes, and eggs, all wrapped up in a warm flour tortilla.
Field Roast apple sage sausage (filtered water, vital wheat, gluten, expeller pressed safflower oil, unsulfured dried apples, Yukon Gold potatoes, yeast extract, onion powder, barley malt, garlic, spices, sea salt, yeast, rubbed sage, natural liquid smoke flavor), cheddar cheese, roasted red potatoes (salt, pepper, berbere spice (coriander, shallot, garlic, ginger, ajwain, fenugreek, turmeric, paprika, nutmeg, allspice, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves)), eggs (egg, milk, salt, pepper), flour tortilla, green tomatillo salsa (tomatillos, garlic, onions, tabasco, salt, pepper, lime), red salsa (tomatoes, limes, cilantro, onion, jalapenos, red pepper flakes, tomato juice, salt and pepper)
While yummy, this meal was wonky. Everything was individually portioned so it was an assembly line on arrival, and loose sauces and plates of food made transport tricky. Oren's meal was mislabeled as having no egg, rather than no dairy so that was stressful, and we had double the amount of meat (4 each) and tons of leftovers! Not sure we'd do this again. 3 stars
