The idea for Macrina Bakery & Cafe existed long before we opened our doors. The seed was planted while Leslie Mackie was in cooking school and continued to take root throughout her early restaurant career and during her travels.

Similar in texture to focaccia, this moist, savory loaf is packed with whole, green Mt. Athos olives and oregano. Baked on semolina flour and brushed with extra virgin olive oil. Enjoy these two rolls, served with organic sweet cream butter and coarse sea salt.
