A slice of purple goodness. This is a tropical twist to the traditional New York-style cheesecake. Ube, also known as purple yam, is a vegetable from the South Pacific commonly found in Philippine desserts. My cheesecake is flavored with ube and paired with a coconut butter biscuit crust. Each slice is topped with purple yam jam and fresh organic strawberries. We hand make each cheesecake in small batches, using quality ingredients, and never freeze them to ensure the freshest slice every time.
cream cheese, pure cane sugar, cage free eggs, organic heavy cream, wheat flour, pure cane sugar, butter, coconut, salt, baking powder, purple yam, cane sugar, organic strawberries, ube flavoring, vanilla
awesome twist on classic cheesecake!
I don't usually like cheesecake, but crust, consistency, and the ube topping are amazing. It got rave reviews from my Filipino in-laws also!
