Vegetarian Étouffeé served with rice, garden salad with creamy Creole dressing, and cornbread. Étouffeé literally means "smothered"- which this dish is, in Creole sauce!

  • ⓞ Oven 350F, 10-15 in
  • ⓜ Microwave 2-3 min
  • Sprinkle 1 tbsp water on rice before heating
  • Heat covered
  • Stir halfway through heating

Wow. SO spicy! Almost unbearably spicy, and I'm not a big wimp when it comes to spiciness. Would have loved this if I'd been able to control the spice level a bit.
